| 2005 Jeanneau SO 49 (2,3,4 cab, 4 hd, AC) |
|
| |
One glance at the lines will tell you all you need to know about the Sun Odyssey 49: she is a true passage maker. The SO 49 is powerful, elegant and strong, yet easy to sail -- a classic design from renowned architect Philippe Briand.
She boasts wide open decks with easy water access over the stern. Her cockpit offers luxurious lounging space at sea or at the mooring. The SO 49 benefits from dual steering positions and has all lines to the fully battened mainsail and jib led to the cockpit. Additionally, the controls and displays are conveniently set up at the helm station to enable the helmsman to sail the yacht with exceptional ease.
Below decks her spacious layout offers excellent accommodations for up to six people . Her unparalleled versatility provides three-yachts-in-one: The two forward cabins, each with a 4' 6" berth (exceptional comfort for one adult), ample locker and hanging space and ensuite head and shower, have a removable bulk head to convert into a large stateroom with a central berth. The same feature in the two aft cabins, each with a berth measuring 6'4" x 8'10", enables you to create one outsize cabin. Each of the aft cabins has its own head and shower facility. All cabins benefit from overhead hatches allowing for maximum ventilation.

The port side galley has ample workspace with a deep double sink with removable lids. There is a fully gimbaled three-burner stove, a microwave and a 12V refrigeration system. Opposite the galley and to starboard is a raised, u-shaped main saloon/dining area with comfortable seating for all the crew. The navigation station is located to starboard, with a state-of-the-art electronics panel.
This yacht has it all - air conditioning, autopilot, electric winches, Raymarine C120 colour GPS and chart plotter, bowthruster, generator and inverter! All designed to enhance your sailing experience on this superb yacht. |
