Captain
Paul Kuhn, born 1957, has been involved with boats for 20
years. He learned the ropes crewing on the 350' four masted
barque Sea Cloud sailing the Caribbean from his native
Germany in 1979. His adventurous spirit took him to Alaska
as a fisherman and had him encounter pirates in the South
China Sea. He has crossed the Pacific several times, sailed
through Asia, the Mediterranean and back to the Caribbean.
Paul helped design Alessandra and oversaw her construction
in New Zealand during 1987-88. He chartered her in
Thailand,Malaysia, the Med and since 1992, the Caribbean.
Paul can entertain you with many sea stories or, if you
wish, strum a song on his guitar. Paul speaks fluent
German, English and Spanish.
Chef Sharon Perez,
born 1959, in Venezuela, grew up by the sea. She worked in
several restaurants on Venezuelan vacation spot, Isla
Margarita. Sharon specializes in her local Latin cuisine as
well as international dishes. Sharon also worked for a dive
charter company in Aruba and Curacao. She speaks excellent
English, German, Italian and Spanish and will enhance your
stay on Alessandra with her exceptional cuisine.
Max,
the wonder dog, is a well bred island mix and travels as
part entertainment committee, part security detail. Well
behaved and very friendly, Max loves to show off and is a
terrific addition to the Alessandra crew list.

Sharon often gives her creations a tropical flair from
working in Venezuela. Dining in the cockpit of Alessandra
with balmy breezes blowing is what chartering is all about.
Don't forget to ask Paul for one of his famous rum drinks!
