Crew Profiles:
Jeff and Cindy Hildreth, your crew aboard "Catamar,"
welcome you aboard and look forward to making your Caribbean sailing
charter a very special vacation. Jeff and Cindy are a fun loving,
active couple that bring a wide range of talents to Catamar. They
are from Cape Cod, Mass and have lived aboard their sailboats since
1986. Jeff and Cindy have been chartering in the Virgin Islands
since 1993.
Jeff holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Captains license. He Is also a
PADI Scuba Instructor with over 20 years diving experience and has
logged hundreds of Virgin Island dives. Jeff is experienced in
leading scuba divers of all skill levels. Stateside, Jeff was a
Marine Biologist. He is a patient teacher who enjoys introducing
beginners to the exciting under water world as well as sharing the
best advanced spots with the more experienced divers. Jeff is an
active outdoors man and also enjoys hiking, fly fishing,
motorcycling, kayaking, mountain biking, and photography.
Chef Cindy Hildreth is an accomplished sailor and has teamed up with
Jeff on numerous offshore passages. Great food is a major part of
your day on Catamar and Cindy prepares a varied, international menu
designed to suit your tastes and preferences. She enjoys preparing
several local favorites each week. Besides her culinary skills,
Cindy is a certified diver and enjoys snorkeling, hiking, camping,
traveling and is an avid reader.
Both Jeff and Cindy have hotel-hospitality backgrounds and are tuned
into anticipating and accommodating their guest preferences. An "up"
positive attitude coupled with attention to details makes for the
perfect custom tailored vacation. Together, they have chartered and
sailed the Caribbean from the Virgins to Grenada. They have a wealth
of knowledge about the local history and culture, and love sharing
sea stories with you. They are your personnel Caribbean concierges
who can arrange anything from secluded anchorages to lively island
bars. Each day is designed to meet the desires of their guests. Jeff
and Cindy have explored ALL the Virgin Islands and know ALL the
secret spots. They look forward to sharing their love of the islands
with you. |
