Dolce Vita

Dolce Vita is a 6 passenger Italian designed and built Astondoa 66' foot Motor Yacht. Her beautiful ultra-modern teak interior finish makes it quite difficult to imagine you are actually on an ocean-going yacht. She is available for selected customers who appreciate her compact but finely appointed features.

                                                                    Crew
US Coast Guard Masters Rated Captains Winston Hovey and Cynthia Zvanut are seasoned yachtsmen who transformed their love of the sea and global travel into a mutual career. Cynthia, formerly vice president of one of San Diego's largest public relations firm, and Winston, a Canadian engineer from the Maritime Provinces with a sea-goer's heritage, met 13 years ago on Windansea Beach in La Jolla, California. Together they carefully meshed a new career strategy with time lines, all of which placed them where they wanted to be, doing what they wanted to do. Adventure and flexibility epitomize Cynthia and Winston's lifestyle: They traded their glass home on Windansea for a grass hut on a 3/4 acre island called Saba Rock in the British Virgin Islands. The rock was soon followed by a yellow, aqua and peach beach house with no electricity and no water (but chock- full of Sir Francis Drake history) on Virgin Gorda's North Sound - and then to USVI's Hassel Island with a population of seven. Their tropical life has taken them through every "adventure" outlined in their favorite book about island life, "Don't Stop the Carnival". Combine hurricanes, whale sightings, island legends and Caribbean archaeology plus their 10,000 mile Harley Davidson trips, 30-day Pacific crossing, winning Antigua's Classic Yacht Race and sailing their own Sparkman & Stevens yacht through the Panama Canal, and you have a rich backdrop against which to understand their love of adventure and the sea.

Dolce Vita is offered as a 6 passenger vessel in the full sense of the word. You and your guests can enjoy her three staterooms - two with queen- sized beds and one with two double beds. Each stateroom has it's individual en-suite head and shower. Crew's quarters are completely separate.
