The American Yacht Company with it's five web sites, boatmiami.com; boatbvi.com, luxuryachtvacation.com, miamiyachtweddings.com, and floridabahamasyachts.com was founded by Tony King, our general manager, who specializes in crewed and bareboat vacations worldwide including mega yacht vacations. Tony's partner, Gail King, specializes in Weddings and Corporate Events in South Florida. Gail also assists with vacations and mega yacht bookings. In June 2005, Hazel Johnson came onboard to take care of accounting and to assist Tony and Gail with charter yacht bookings.
Boat BVI has been around since 1998 and is managed by charter professionals with a wide experience both as captains, owning their own charter boats, as well as brokerage and IT experience. Our General Manager has an extensive sailing background, in Europe, The US, Latin America and the Caribbean. He chartered his own vessel in the Caribbean and the Bahamas for several years as a fully certified Coast Guard Captain with a 100 ton masters license - he is fully at home sailing or on a power boat.
